National Qualifier for the 2023 Evo Summer Nationals

Our 2nd Annual Great Lakes Takeover is our 3rd National Qualifier off our 2023 Spring & Summer National Qualifying series consisting of 7 National Qualifiers being hosted at arguably three of the top five 8 court facilities in the mid-west: The Rec Plex (Pleasant Prairie, WI), UW Health Sports Factory (Rockford, IL) & Community First Champion Center (Appleton, WI).  All National Qualifiers will consist of 8 team divisions, that will play 3 pool games on Saturdays and single elimination brackets on Sundays. The Great Lakes Takeover will be hosted on 5/6/23 – 5/7/23 at the Rec Plex in Pleasant Prairie, WI.  Registration closes once we field 8 teams for a given division. We expect teams from all over the mid-west (MN, IA, MO, TN, KY, IN, OH, MI, IL & WI) to compete for their bid to the 2023 Evo Summer Nationals.

We’ve enhanced several elements of our National Championship platform: all National Qualifying participants automatically earn a bid to our Nationals.  However, your results determine what division you compete in; Platinum Bracket – 1st & 2nd Place Finishes, Gold Bracket – 3rd & 4th Place Finishes, Silver Bracket – 5th & 6th Place Finishes & Bronze Bracket – 7th & 8th Place Finishes. this will be be a 5-9 game set over a 4 day span (7/27/23-7/30/23), Champions will still get Rings but now the Divisional MVP’s receive MVP Belts.

• We have rules in place that protect the integrity of the game
• The ball moves to half court after T.O.’s & stop clock last 5 minutes of the game
• Universal Tip Off’s and games will be played with customized Evolution Basketballs
• We pay well above market so we can offer a higher level of officiating
• Officiating crews will wear customized Evolution shirts & receive on-site evaluations
• Professional interviews & highlight videos by the Line For Line Podcast
• We use our social media platforms to promote Game MVP’s, Divisional MVP’s & Champions
• Provide Divisional MVP trophies & custom Championship medals for players & coaches
• Our Evo Tourney’s mobile app provides our schedule and up to date progress for all our tournaments
• We accept multiple payment options when fans enter our events: Cash, CashApp & Venmo
• We’re organized, offer on-time games, let scorekeepers in free and offer streaming at our events
• We will now have security on staff to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance
• All coaches must have docs on hand for players (Birth Certificate & Report Card) in case of protest
